Our Final Week!

 I just cannot believe how quickly this school year flew by!  These kiddos have grown and learned so much!  My heart bursts at their kind words and the way they show Jesus' love to others!  The way they pray to and praise Jesus is such a blessing to me!  I am thankful to have partnered with you this year - thank you for sharing your child with me each day!


We had combined reading time this week with the upstairs class.  It was fun to practice reading fluently and with expression!  











We also did some math games together - reviewing the many skills we learned this year!  







We had fun signing yearbooks too!  




On Tuesday we had our 2nd grade celebration!  Thank you for all the donations to make this fun afternoon possible!  We enjoyed a picnic lunch together, play time with the middle boundary between playscapes open, an ice cream sundae bar, and a fun time with games and water balloons!

















This morning we had a beautiful send off chapel for our 2nd graders!  








After chapel we went to the schoolhouse and presented our Classroom Awards!  Just look at these smiles... :)















It's been a fantastic year!  Please help your child stay ready for 3rd grade by doing some learning and reading each day!  I pray you and your sweet second grader have a peaceful, relaxing, and fun summer filled with lots of snuggles, adventures, and time together!

Wow - what an absolutely fantastic week!  I am so happy to be on this journey with your family!  It's been wonderful to get to know your sweet second grader over the course of this week! Week Two

We are learning, growing, and having fun in the forest!  Yesterday and today, I've noticed a few extra big feelings and some quick tears (all have been resolved with some gentle reminders and a little problem solving ;) ).  I am thankful a long weekend is upon us because I believe my sweet second graders need a small break to rest, sleep in, snuggle with Mom/Dad, and have time at home with their families.   Announcements & Reminders : *Please remember to order lunch by 7am on Tuesday!  Remember you must order in this time frame for the whole week.  If you click on the three lines in the top left corner of the blog, there is a quick link to the lunch form.   *Please send back your child's empty Friday folder on Tuesday. *There is an invitation in your child's Friday folder for a Pastor breakfast.
