2nd Grade Forest School with Mrs. Brouwer

 It was a short, sweet week together!  We had a wonderful, wet off-campus trip to Saugatuck Dunes this morning and had an amazing Thanksgiving Feast together as a classroom family.   Thank you so much for donating the tableware, food items, desserts, and punch!  Thank you also for donating your time to help serve and clean up at our feast.  I pray you, your sweet second grader, and family have a wonderful, peaceful, fun-filled Thanksgiving celebrating all the ways God is moving in our lives! Our gratitude chain was long enough to cover all our lockers!  We have a lot to be thankful for! It was a great week in the forest! We had some sun, some rain, and some cold! Thank you for helping your child be prepared for the weather with all the outdoor gear - I know it can be a lot to bring but it helps our time outside go more smoothly when we have the right gear!  Today we celebrated 1,000 Hour Day with the K-1 students!   Announcements & Reminders : *Please remember to order lunch by 7am on Monday!  Remember you must order in this time frame for the whole week.  If you click on the three lines in the top left corner of the blog, there is a quick link to the lunch form.   *Homework bags and Friday folders are due back on Monday. *There will be no new homework sent home next week - reading is a great habit to continue even without a reading log! ;) * CHANGE : Books orders are due on Tuesday, November 25 by 3:00pm .
