Week 35

It was a beautiful week in 2nd grade!  We are learning, growing, and having so much fun! 








It was a wonder parade day on Thursday!  My sweet 2nd graders did such a GREAT job walking, waving, and smiling!  I am so proud of them!!



















Announcements & Reminders:

*Please remember to order lunch by 7am on Monday!  Remember you must order in this time frame for the whole week.  If you click on the three lines in the top left corner of the blog, there is a quick link to the lunch form.  There is NO school lunch for Tuesday, May 12.


*Friday folders and homework bags are due on Monday.


*Please be sure to help your 2nd grader remember a water bottle. With the temperature warming up each afternoon - we have lots of kids that need a cup for water.

Parents! You are invited to join us for a springtime celebration over pastries after drop off! Wednesday, May 20 during our typical chapel time, you are invited to join us in the chapel amphitheater space and enjoy a pastry together! We’ll be ready to welcome you from 8:30-9:00 at the cabin campus!

Bible:  Spending quiet time with God is a beautiful thing!







ELA:  In writing we're writing about ourselves as 2nd graders - these will go into our Time Capsules!




In reading we're working on buidling our reading stamina and making good, solid jots while reading.  





Math:  We're graphing! We're practicing reading graphs and answering questions based off what we're learning.





Outdoor Learning:  We finished up our communities and made posters to show what we added! Next week we will take our off-campus community trip!

*Wednesday, June 3: 1/2 Day of School - Last Day

Week One

Wow - what an absolutely fantastic week!  I am so happy to be on this journey with your family!  It's been wonderful to get to know your sweet second grader over the course of this week! Week Two

We are learning, growing, and having fun in the forest!  Yesterday and today, I've noticed a few extra big feelings and some quick tears (all have been resolved with some gentle reminders and a little problem solving ;) ).  I am thankful a long weekend is upon us because I believe my sweet second graders need a small break to rest, sleep in, snuggle with Mom/Dad, and have time at home with their families.   Announcements & Reminders : *Please remember to order lunch by 7am on Tuesday!  Remember you must order in this time frame for the whole week.  If you click on the three lines in the top left corner of the blog, there is a quick link to the lunch form.   *Please send back your child's empty Friday folder on Tuesday. *There is an invitation in your child's Friday folder for a Pastor breakfast.
