Cheer on the varsity teams against West Ottawa High School.  Hot dogs and chips for lunch, meet the players, signed posters of the softball team and fun day at the ball fields!

----------

Bible:  We praised the Lord through singing this week! It is just beautiful to listen to these sweet 2nd graders sing their hearts out for their Jesus! What a blessing!

ELA:  We worked on reading comprehension this week by reading passages and answering questions. We focused on finding the evidence in the story/article/text. We are also working on building our reading stamina!

We had a good time thinking about ourselves as grandparents and what we might say, do, or wear! ;) We also spent time reflecting on the grandparents/grandfriends in our lives and creating a special project for them to bring home from Grandparents/Grandfriends Day!

Math:  We've moved into telling time. We're looking at both analog and digital clocks. We're learning about the minute hand and the hour hand and practicing AM and PM.

Outdoor Learning:  We're learning about our own community! We've spent time this year learning about different types of habitats, so we're focusing on our own habitat...a community!
