Week 29
What a beautiful Friday! The sunshine was amazing today!
Announcements & Reminders:
*Please remember to order lunch by 7am on Monday! Remember you must order in this time frame for the whole week. If you click on the three lines in the top left corner of the blog, there is a quick link to the lunch form.
*If you have not already - please click HERE and complete the Tulip Time form so I know how your child will be dressing for the parade.
*I'm noticing a decrease in homework being turned in again. I've talked with the 2nd graders quite a bit about being responsible and how it's important to complete their homework AND bring it back to school.
*Homework bags and Friday folders should be returned on Monday.
*If you are picking up or dropping your child off at Sassafras House (due to a late arrival or early pick up) please be sure to rehook the chain when leaving the driveway. Thanks so much!

----------
Bible: We are continuing to learn about Jesus' and His work here on Earth. We're learning about Wisdom Seeking and talking about all the ways we can seek God's wisdom.
ELA: We spent some great time building our reading stamina!
Math: We're focusing on shapes and learning specific details about different shapes. We're learning to measure each side of a shape and then add up those lengths to find the distance around the shape.
Outdoor Learning: We continued learning about mapping this week. It was a wild week with snow, wetness, and mud! We have a stream that we are mapping. Each 2nd grader has been assigned a section of the stream to focus on.
Star Student: Arie was our Star Student this week! We had fun looking at Arie's poster and pictures. We learned that he is really good at sports and games and wants to be a football player when he grows up. Arie, you are a special child of God and we are thankful you're a part of our classroom family.
