Week 9
Fall is definitely here! We are having some very chilly mornings and then beautiful afternoons! Please help your child be prepared for outside time at PR each morning with a coat, hat, gloves, along socks and shoes!
Announcements & Reminders:
*Please remember to order lunch by 7am on Monday! Remember you must order in this time frame for the whole week. If you click on the three lines in the top left corner of the blog, there is a quick link to the lunch form.
*If you are dropping off late/picking up early - please fill out this FORM so that PR Office knows! Thanks!!
*Friday folders are coming home - please send these empty on Monday. Also, please make sure homework bags are coming back each Monday. Thanks!
*From the Office:
-Forest School Merch is available for a limited time! Take a peek at the online store for Forest gear if you’re interested!
Bible: This week we looked at the story of Moses and learned about what he experienced - from his time as a baby in a basket, to being the one leading the Israelites out of Egypt!
ELA: We spent time this week looking for the lessons in our books. Authors sometimes put hidden lessons in their stories. We found many great lessons our characters are learning!
Math: We're working on word problems! These can be tricky because sometimes they have extra information, missing information, or hidden information!
Outdoor Learning: We focused on trees this week and spent time looking at the different root systems, types of barks, size, etc. of all the trees around us!
Star Student: Anderson was our Star Student this week. We liked looking at Anderson's pictures and poster and learned that he likes to play soccer and baseball and wants to be a soccer player when he grows up. Anderson, we are thankful God put you in our classroom family!
